The presentation of book titled "Coretan Hati - Antology Cerpen Azerbaijan" was held in Kuala Lumpur

The presentation of the book titled "Coretan Hati - Antology Cerpen Azerbaijan" in Malay, which consists of works by Azerbaijani writers, was held in Kuala Lumpur on October 12, 2024.

The ceremony was attended by Honourable Ts. Zahir bin Hassan, the head of the West Asia friendship group in Malaysian Parliament, YBhg Dato’ Wira Roslan Tan Sri Abdul Rahman, Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam, Secretary General of the Ministry of National Unity, YBhg Datuk Seri Tpr (Dr.) Maimunah Mohd Sharif, mayor of Kuala Lumpur City, ambassadors accredited to Malaysia, university rectors and library directors and the members of Azerbaijani diaspora living in South-Eastern Asian region.

Mr. Noor Amin Ahmad, the Chairman of Malaysian Institute of Translation & Books (ITBM), H.E. Mr. Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and H.E. Mr. Irfan Davudov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Malaysia emphasized that the book has been published as a fruitful result of close cooperation among the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Malaysia and ITBM.

The meeting has been concluded by a performance of the “Karabakh” mugham group.
